The Cotillion has been conducting formal dinner-dances in fine halls with live music since 1947. The music is a mixture of ballroom rhythms, including Foxtrot, Waltz, Quickstep, Hustle, Cha-cha-cha, Rumba, Mambo, Samba, Tango, and more! Membership is open but limited to sixty-five couples to assure adequate space for dancing in the halls available to us; we maintain a membership waiting list.
The season consists of seven events; whenever possible these are scheduled on the third Saturday of October, November, and December, the second Saturday of February, and the third Saturday of March, April, and May. The organization is operated by a volunteer board of directors serving three year terms. The board members manage the finances and run the dinner-dances. Cotillion members are encouraged to serve on the board; please volunteer by contacting any board member. |
